I was wondering why my embroidery, made over a year ago, was suddenly getting “favorited” on Flickr. & then I found it on the Tumblr “Fuck Yeah, Carl Sagan.”
I swoon! Thanks for the <3 and reblogs, everyone.
For my first project, I’m knitting the DW Stitch Dishcloth shared here: www.knittingknonsense.com/DW_cloth.html
Before learning to knit in early December, I started spinning the month before. This was likely backwards for many people, but it’s only after spending time with yarn like this that I was finally weakened enough to pick up knitting needles.

A couple of months ago, I didn’t even really understand that people could make and dye yarn, let alone how it was done. Thanks, Corrine!
I have several tins like this scattered across my studio desk. Finding one to hold those taller paintbrushes was a llittle victory!
